Jeromy moved to the Treasure Valley 12 years ago after serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. Having grown up in Eastern Oregon, Jeromy understands the hardships of the farmers and ranchers of the region. “I have tried to live my life in service. Service to country, to family, to community, and there is no higher service than protecting the very thing that allows us to both live and flourish… water.”

I was privileged enough to grow up in an area with tons of green space. One of my first environmental memories was going to farm camp when I was 6. I went back and forth on what I wanted to do as an adult, but once I realized that I could turn my love for the environment into a full-time job, I was sold. I majored in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences with a minor in Political Science because I knew I wanted to be a change-maker and work to improve the issues that mattered to me. I am so excited to be a member of the SRA team and help make real change.

Leigh is a 4th generation Idahoan and loves to travel, but like a salmon, Idaho always draws her back. Both her grandfathers worked at the Idaho National Laboratory so she has deep emotional ties to the surrounding area and the water beneath it. Leigh feels strongly that she needs to do her part to help support the clean up of nuclear waste and protect it for future generations. “Water is more precious than any resource I can imagine and I intend on defending and protecting it in any way I can. I want my children to experience the beauty of our state and to always want to come home to the clean water and fresh air Idaho offers.”
