NUCLEAR PROGRAM

Nuclear energy is dirty, dangerous, expensive, and inequitable because it forces future generations to address the impossible task of storing radioactive waste for tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of years into the future. Idaho is already confronting the reality of “cleaning up” (or more accurately containing) radioactive contamination from Idaho National Laboratory. Nuclear weapons, waste, and energy have no place in Idaho’s safe, clean, sustainable future.
