Preparations Underway to Reimagine the Snake River Alliance
We would like to share some news about the future of the Snake River Alliance. Over the years, we have made incredible strides in creating a sustainable, nuclear-free, energy future in Idaho. As the movement continues to evolve, we must adapt to the energy landscape, community needs, and the anti-nuclear movement at large.
With that in mind, we would like to announce that in November, we are beginning preparations to embark on a transformative journey. We will cease programmatic operations starting January 1 and enter a four-month intensive process to reimagine, retool, and renew the Snake River Alliance to fortify the organization for the work ahead. This initiative will allow us not only to adapt but also thrive in a rapidly changing environment, ensuring that we can continue to make a meaningful impact into the future.
What Does This Mean for You?
Your commitment and passion for Idaho and our mission have been instrumental in our successes, and we believe that your contributions will be crucial as we move forward.
In the coming weeks and months, you can expect to see the following:
- Collaboration: We will encourage open communication and collaboration with innovators, creating a space for ideas and fresh perspectives.
- Assessment and Planning: We will work with an organization-development consultant who will assist us in creating a process and structure for renewal. We will conduct a frank assessment of our current operations, identify areas for improvement, and develop a comprehensive plan for our organization’s future.
- Engagement: Your input, ideas, and feedback will be vital in shaping our organization’s future. We encourage you to participate in the process and will communicate with you about the best ways to provide your input.
- Skill Development: We will invest in new ways to fortify our movement and ensure that our team has the knowledge and tools to excel in these evolving conditions.
We are committed to transparency throughout this journey and will keep you updated on our progress and milestones along the way. Your dedication to the Snake River Alliance is highly valued, and together we will not only adapt but emerge more robust and more resilient.
Thank you for your continued dedication and support. We look forward to the incredible journey ahead and the positive changes we will bring to our mission and our community. We also look forward to sharing what we have learned with our allies to build our movement further.
If you have any questions or suggestions at any point in this process, please do not hesitate to reach out. Together, we will reimagine and fortify the Snake River Alliance for the work ahead.
