SUMMARY:Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) FREE DOWNWINDER APPLICATION WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:Join Idaho Downwinders and Snake River Alliance for a FREE RECA workshop.\nNuclear weapons testing sickened and killed people right here in Idaho. The Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) was established by Congress on October 5\, 1990\, and signed into law shortly after\, providing compensation to some individuals harmed by radiation from nuclear weapons tests (“Downwinders”) and uranium mining. If the individual has died\, their survivors may apply for equal shares of the single payment.  \nJoin us for the next free workshop!\nTona Henderson\, Director of Idaho Downwinders\, will go through the application page by page and we’ll make sure your questions get answered. \nDon’t get scammed or spend money on application assistance.
