DESCRIPTION:Join the Snake River Alliance north of Boise as we gather to remember the tragic events of 80 years ago\, when U.S. nuclear weapons devastated Hiroshima and Nagasaki. \nIn a world where nuclear threats persist and violence too often goes unacknowledged\, we must confront history—not only to mourn\, but to recommit ourselves to peace. \nEvent Details:\n Date: Saturday\, August 9th\n Time: 6:15 AM (sunrise at 6:43 AM)\n Meetup Location: Dry Creek Trail parking area \nWe’ll take a short walk and share a quiet moment of reflection as the sun rises\, honoring the lives lost and reaffirming our call for a nuclear-free future. Light refreshments (coffee\, fruit\, and muffins) will be provided—please RSVP so we can plan accordingly. \nCarpooling: Need a ride or able to offer one? Let us know on the RSVP form\, and we’ll help coordinate. \nThis vigil is a small but meaningful act of remembrance and resistance.
