The work of the Snake River Alliance is only possible because of people like you. We are a membership organization. We communicate often with our donors and respect the intent of every gift. We receive no government funds and just a handful of grants from progressive businesses and private foundations. Click here to join the Alliance!
Our Executive Director, Wendy Wilson can be reached at (208) 344-9161 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss special gifts, bequests, and stock donations.
Your gift makes a huge difference. The Alliance has stopped three proposed nuclear bomb plants, two proposed nuclear plants, a coal-fired power plant, a nuclear incinerator, and put Idaho on “a glide path” away from coal — with a small staff and lean budget.
Today we are leading “Solarize the Valley” a project that makes it easier and more affordable for homeowners and businesses to install rooftop solar panels. We are fighting new plans to bring nuclear waste to our state and working to shut down two coal plants, North Valmy (NV) and Jim Bridger (WY).

Gifts of securities, mutual funds, charitable annuities or IRA distributions, each can benefit the Alliance and provide tax savings to donors. Contact your brokerage for details about how to transfer appreciated securities. We will be glad to provide our brokerage account number upon request.
Planned gifts include gifts made through your will or trust as well as gifts of life insurance or retirement benefits. When planning your financial legacy, you can make the Alliance a beneficiary of your estate. Bequests ensure the Alliance’s long-term vitality and support our nuclear watchdog work. Remember loved ones in a way that honors their memory and celebrates the legacy of a Clean and Safe Idaho. Tributes are individually tailored and depending on the gift can range from sponsorship of a DC Days participant to a contribution to the Alliance’s Nuclear Guardian endowment.
Gifts of real estate can benefit both the Alliance and the benefactor. Real estate donation can minimize estate taxation and qualify donors for a significant tax deduction.
Donations from the corporate community are welcome. Gifts can come in the form of direct donations of materials that support the Alliance’s programs, such as computers, vehicles, supplies, and airline tickets, to financial support and sponsorship of events.
