The Sun is HOT – and so is Solarize the Valley!

Idaho Power recently hooked up its 1,000th net meter, a special meter that tracks power in and power out and is used for customers who are generating their own power. As luck would have it, this landmark 1,000th installation was for a Boise home that was solarized through the Snake River Alliance’s Solarize the Valley campaign.  Solarize the Valley rooftop solar systems have been installed by AltEnergy on 11 homes in the Treasure Valley, and six more systems are scheduled for installation.

We’re delighted that so many home and business owners – close to 400 – are taking advantage of the free solar site assessment provided through Solarize the
Valley.

Homeowners in the Solarize the Valley program have until Halloween, October 31, 2016 to sign an installation contract for a residential solar power installation tailored specifically for your home at a price point that’s as competitive as any currently being offered in Ada and Canyon counties!

If you have questions about solar energy, net metering, financing, scheduling or anything else, we’re here to help.

  • If you have questions about your solar installation proposal, you can contact our awesome residential solar installer-partner, AltEnergy, directly at: (208) 501-5417 Jesse
