The work of the Snake River Alliance is only possible because of contributions from our members, major donors, and private foundations. We receive about 34% of our funding from individuals and 66% from private foundations.
There are a number of ways to financially support the Alliance and our Executive Director would be happy to answer any questions and discuss giving opportunities. For more information contact Kelsey Nunez at (208) 344-9161 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
One of the most important ways you can support the Alliance’s work is by becoming a member. Our members support our work both financially and politically. It’s because of our members that the Alliance is taken seriously and can impact public policy to protect Idaho. Click here to join the Alliance!
In addition to membership, the Alliance relies on major donors who give above and beyond their membership dues to support our nuclear watchdog work. From $200 to $20,000, any amount you can give will help protect Idaho’s most precious resources. Click the link below to make a donation online now.
Gifts of appreciated securities, made as outright donations or charitable annuities, give the Alliance’s programs the fiscal strength needed to grow, while offering tax savings to donors.
A planned gift is a wonderful way to create a lasting legacy. Planned gifts include gifts through your will or trust as well as gifts of life insurance or retirement benefits. When leaving your financial legacy, consider making the Alliance a beneficiary of your estate. Bequests ensure the Alliance’s long-term vitality and support our nuclear watchdog work. Remember loved ones in a way that honors their memory and celebrates the legacy of a Clean and Safe Idaho. Tributes are individually tailored and depending on the gift can range from sponsorship of a DC Days participant to a contribution to the Alliance’s Nuclear Guardian endowment.
Gifts of real estate can benefit both the Alliance and the benefactor. Real estate donation can minimize estate taxation and qualify donors for a significant tax deduction.
Donations from the corporate community are welcome. Gifts can come in the form of direct donations of materials that support the Alliance’s programs, such as computers, vehicles, supplies, and airline tickets, to financial support and sponsorship of events.
